Former International Baccalaureate teacher at the Western Academy of Beijing. Previously worked at international schools in Venezuela and India. Over 30 years of teaching, with notable experience involving work with educational technology.
Former college guidance counselor at the Singapore American School, International School of Beijing, and schools in Saudi Arabia and New Delhi.
Former admission officer for international admission at Northfield Mount Hermon, David lived in China for many years as a journalist for the Associate Press. In addition to interviewing, David serves as our head of secondary school relations.
Former denizen of Bay Area startups before coming to Beijing, Jackie has interviewed scores of students from many different countries over three admission cycles. She currently runs our on-boarding training for new interviewers.
Most recently the college guidance counselor for Beijing BISS International School. In addition to experience working with talented science students and at the International School of Beijing, she also spent time at the American International School in Dhaka.
A graduate of Harvey Mudd, Brianna spent time in southern China working with high school students. When she is not interviewing students, she is focusing on getting her masters in agricultural and biological engineering at the University of Florida.
Formerly the manager of an elite language school in Haidian and an instructor at the Beijing University of Agriculture, Jesse studied education at the University of Texas, Austin. When not interviewing, he is in charge of special projects.
Previously the assistant director of international admission at Georgia Tech where she helped manage its growth in international applications, Ashley is currently studying for her masters degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Many years of admission experience, both domestically and internationally. Steve was previously the assistant director of graduate admissions at Biola University in California.
Most recently at Questbridge, an organization focused on improving college access for low-income, high achieving high school students, Gabriela earned her masters in education at Vanderbilt University, where she completed her practicum in the undergraduate admissions office.
A long-time interviewer with InitialView, Jon focuses on interviewing applicants interested in finance, economics, accounting or similar subjects. Jon received his MBA from Tsinghua University.
